Blueleaf Energy has recently appointed Johnson Varghese, Wind Development Director and he is responsible for providing technical and commercial expertise into wind opportunities across Blueleaf Energy’s business in the Asia Pacific region.

Most recently Johnson was EVP of New Business Development at Siemens Gamesa in India where he undertook a rationalisation of Siemens Gamesa’s wind and solar development portfolio during the restructuring review of that business. Prior to that he spent time in Sembcorp Singapore (VP Project Development), Vestas (Director Global Development), Kshema and 4 years in SunEdison (MD Wind and Solar Operations). Before that he spent 14 years with Vestas in operations and maintenance, development, engineering and construction of wind farms across India.

Johnson will be diving into an exciting wind opportunities in India, as well as providing input to the various wind opportunities we have in Taiwan and other locations.
