Our Platforms

In addition to greenfield development, we are creating one of the largest renewable energy platforms in Asia Pacific by scaling up RE deployment through effective local partnerships:

Japan: Hinode

In 2021, Blueleaf Energy and Univergy International formed a joint venture (JV) company, Hinode Energy, to serve on of the world’s largest sola markets, Japan. Headquartered in Tokyo, Hinode Energy rapidly expanded its project pipeline to 700 MW by 2024, surpassing its initial 200 MW target. Leveraging the combined expertise of both companies, Hinode is delivering high-quality, cost-effective solar energy projects that contribute to Japan’s decarbonization goals.

Key Highlights:

  • JV established in 2021
  • 700 MW project pipeline
  • Contributing to Japan’s 363 GW by 2035 renewable energy target

The Philippines: Blueleaf Energy Philippines

In 2024, Blueleaf Energy divested its Philippine operations, establishing Blueleaf Energy Philippines as an independent, onshore renewables company. Leveraging on the robust pipeline of over 1.5 GW of solar projects inherited from Blueleaf Energy, including the world’s largest floating solar farm, Blueleaf Energy Philippines is poised to become a market leader.
