Our Investment Director & Country Head for India, Pratyush Thakur, will be speaking on the second day, November 21st, of the 23rd Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Green Power Conference in Chennai, India. The theme of this year’s conference is ‘Accelerating Deployment of Renewable Energy for Achieving Net Zero.’

The Sohrabji Godrej Green Business Centre, a key player in India’s renewable energy sector, are the organizers of this annual conference. The conference has gained significant traction within the Indian industry over the past twenty plus years and this year’s edition is being held at the Hotel Taj Wellington Mews, Near TIDEL Park in Tharamani, Chennai.

The primary goal of Green Power is to foster a business-friendly environment and attract long-term investments in India’s renewable energy sector. By supporting the government’s ambitious target of 500 GW renewable energy capacity by 2030, this conference aims to accelerate India’s transition to a sustainable future.

CII’s Green Power 2024 will feature technical sessions focused on the event’s theme. Additionally, the conference will recognize and honor top-performing renewable energy projects across India with ‘Performance Excellence Awards’.
